Mala Garden – Useful Information

Room Prices

  • Prices of Mala Garden Siófok apply as indicated in HUF, and include VAT. Prices in EUR are indicative only, due to the fluctuation in exchange rates.
  • Breakfast is included in the prices.
  • Prices are determined in compliance with relevant statutory provisions.
  • With the exception of confirmed booking rates, we reserve the right to change our prices any time.
  • Prices do not include local tourist tax, which amounts to HUF 550/guest/night.
    (Applicable for guests 18 years of age and above)

Arrival

  • Rooms are available from 3:00 pm on the day of arrival.
  • Please notify the hotel in case of early arrival, after receiving your booking confirmation.
  • Please make sure you notify the hotel if you wish to check in after 6:00 pm.

Departure

  • Please leave the room by 11:00 am on the day of departure.
  • The option to check out late has to be arranged beforehand (subject to availability).

Parking

  • In the garage parking lot of the hotel: indoor parking: 3,500 HUF/day, outdoor parking 2.500 HUF / day in high season, indoor parking: 2,500 HUF/day, outdoor parking 2.000 HUF / day in off season (limited availability, by prior arrangement).
  • In the outdoor parking lot next to the hotel: 2.500 HUF / day (in high season: 15th May – 15th September, by prior arrangement), FREE in off season.

Electric car charging options

  • Main season: indoor parking 3.500 HUF/day + 254 Ft / kWh
  • Off-season: indoor parking 2.500 HUF/day + 254 Ft / kWh
  • We have 1 electric car charger, pre-booking is essential.
  • The charger has a Type2 plug. We can’t provide charging cable.
  • Please contact our reception for occasional recharging.
  • The size of the parking place: 6,5 m long x 2,4 m wide x 1,78 m high
  • There is an additional car charging station 60 meters far from our hotel (E-Mobi – Petőfi sétány)

Pets

  • Taking our hotel’s parameters into consideration, we can only accommodate pets under 10 kg and/or 45 cm. Pet surcharge: HUF 12,000/pet/night.
  • Please make sure you notify the hotel in case you wish to bring a pet with you!

Booking

  • We only accept bookings in written form, but you can call us any time if you need more information!
  • We send a confirmation for every booking, which needs to be confirmed by the guest in written form.

Cancellation Policy

  • You may cancel your booking free of charge up to 14 days before the arrival date. For bookings cancelled later than this you will be charged an amount equivalent to the price of 3 nights’ stay, or in the case of bookings shorter than that, the full price of the original booking.
  • In high season (10.06–27.08), you may cancel your booking free of charge up to 21 days before the arrival date. For bookings cancelled later than this you will be charged an amount equivalent to the price of 3 nights’ stay, or in the case of bookings shorter than that, the full price of the original booking.
  • Note that we are unable to accept cancellations by phone, please send a written notice (via email or by post) of your cancellation.
  • In case you check out before the confirmed departure date, the full price of the original booking is payable.
  • We recommend buying a travel cancellation insurance.

White Tea Suite

Enjoy the Mala Garden experience in our White Tea Suite, which provides perfect satisfaction for all your senses with its 180-degree view of Lake Balaton. The suite is an authentic representation of modern oriental architecture. The hardwood claddings, the hand-carved Buddha wall ornament made of several pieces of antique teak wood, and the Thai silk electric curtains provide for a cosy atmosphere, maintaining the feeling of luxury and eastern comfort.

Penthouse

The Penthouse suite of Mala Garden Hotel is the gem of the hotel, which could easily win the “Penthouse of Balaton” title. The 130-square-metre suite has a living room equipped with a bar, a kitchen without an oven or a cooktop (but with a fridge, a microwave, a dish washer and a wine cooler), a dining table for 6 and a breathtaking panorama of the lake and the northern shore, but in clear weather you can also see the Tihany Peninsula.

Penthouse Aura

With its 60m2 sunny balcony, the 100m2 suite of the Mala Garden Hotel**** Superior is a perfect choice for families, small groups of friends, or couples looking for intimacy. The Mala atmosphere is provided by comfortable goose-down Swan sofas and armchairs, the wine cooler and Chopard cosmetic products. It has one bedroom with views of the inner yard, and another bedroom with a side panorama.
