Mandara Modern Italian Kitchen is open all year round. From October to June, it awaits guests as a patisserie, and from June to September as an Italian-style restaurant, also offering our confectionery specialties of course. During the summer season, both our patisserie and restaurant are open every day. Our guests can enjoy Smooth jazzy-easy style live guitar tunes on our waterside terraces in the summer evenings.

The waterfront terrace offers a beautiful view of Siófok’s Golden Beach, so in summer you can enjoy your favourite Italian dish in a real seaside atmosphere, accompanied by a glass of fine wine or a refreshing cocktail. In the evenings during the summer season, smooth jazzy, easy listening style live guitar performances set the mood for a genuine beach feeling.

Italian gastronomy is deservedly famous all over the world, its roots going all the way back to the Roman Empire. Like any Mediterranean cuisine, Italian cuisine is healthy yet nutritious as well as delicious, thanks to its use of more vegetables and olive oil.

In the name of variety, try our Italian-style dishes! Mandara restaurant presents unadulterated and traditional Italian cuisine with a slight detour, made from natural and carefully selected ingredients, with the utmost care. Try our chef’s Italian specialties, colourful pasta variations!

Our pastry chef’s pastries are made locally, from seasonally selected ingredients. We make sure to only include the best ingredients, such as using only Belgian chocolate to make desserts, which are free of artificial flavouring and food colouring.

We also cater to special needs, as our menu also includes sugar-, gluten- and lactose-free options, sweetened with dates, so that everyone can indulge themselves in some guilty pleasures at our patisserie.

Mandara Modern Italian Kitchen also offers an alternative for guests who only want a refreshing drink. They can choose from a selection of homemade lemonades, syrup sodas, home-made craft beer specialties, premium drinks and coffee specialties.

There is nothing better than a deliciously sensual espresso or a glass of pinot grigio that you can enjoy while admiring the panorama of Lake Balaton in any season of the year.

White Tea Suite

Enjoy the Mala Garden experience in our White Tea Suite, which provides perfect satisfaction for all your senses with its 180-degree view of Lake Balaton. The suite is an authentic representation of modern oriental architecture. The hardwood claddings, the hand-carved Buddha wall ornament made of several pieces of antique teak wood, and the Thai silk electric curtains provide for a cosy atmosphere, maintaining the feeling of luxury and eastern comfort.

Penthouse

The Penthouse suite of Mala Garden Hotel is the gem of the hotel, which could easily win the “Penthouse of Balaton” title. The 130-square-metre suite has a living room equipped with a bar, a kitchen without an oven or a cooktop (but with a fridge, a microwave, a dish washer and a wine cooler), a dining table for 6 and a breathtaking panorama of the lake and the northern shore, but in clear weather you can also see the Tihany Peninsula.

Penthouse Aura

With its 60m2 sunny balcony, the 100m2 suite of the Mala Garden Hotel**** Superior is a perfect choice for families, small groups of friends, or couples looking for intimacy. The Mala atmosphere is provided by comfortable goose-down Swan sofas and armchairs, the wine cooler and Chopard cosmetic products. It has one bedroom with views of the inner yard, and another bedroom with a side panorama.
